Responsibilities

Express is seeking a Store Visual Merchandising Manager to join our Easton Town Center team.  

 

The Store Visual Merchandising Manager helps create a visually appealing shopping environment and in turn drives a positive customer experience.  This role assists the Store Manager in overseeing all visual merchandising responsibilities:  understanding floor plans and floor set direction, executing floor sets, flexing visual merchandising to best meet the needs of the store without compromising Company visual standards, ensuring back stock is well organized and identifying/addressing replenishment needs (if applicable, working with the store Operations Expert), training store associates at all levels on visual merchandising requirements, and teaching how to flex appropriately.  This position also assists the Store Manager in supervising store operations including but not limited to managing store associates, driving sales productivity, maintaining compliance with Company policies, and creating a compelling in-store shopping experience for our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Understanding floor plans and floor set direction
  • Executing floor sets
  • Flexing visual merchandising to meet the needs of the store while maintaining consistent Company visual standards
  • Ensuring back stock is well organized and identifying/addressing replenishment needs
  • Working with the store Operations Expert (if applicable complement exists) and providing direction
  • Training store associates at all levels on visual merchandising requirements
  • Teaching store associates how to flex visual merchandising appropriately
  • Assisting the Store Manager with managing store associates, driving sales productivity, and creating a compelling in-store shopping experience
  • Maintaing compliance with Company policies and procedures

Required Experience & Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3- 5 years of relevant experience including in-store leadership
  • Demonstrated visual merchandising and customer experience skills
  • Technology proficiency (iPad, RFID, registers, etc.)
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours

 

Critical Skills & Attributes

  • Experience in specialty retail store environment
  • Proven ability to drive sales results through enhanced visual merchandising and customer engagement
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.
